Hi, I’m Karen. I’m a transformational life coach for midlife women who are ready to pause, reflect, and create the next chapter of their lives with more clarity and confidence.
I’m in my 50s and living a life I love in the beautiful countryside of Northern Scotland. It’s peaceful, grounding and full of the space I once dreamed of having. But it hasn’t all been a straight path to get here.
I’ve had a really varied career and more than a few twists and turns along the way. Each stage has given me a mix of life experience, perspective and stories that now feed into my work with clients.
Back in 2014, my husband and I finally made the move north after years of saying “one day.” That decision taught me something big: we’re always creating our lives, whether we realise it or not, through the choices we make, the chances we take (or don’t), and the values we live by.
It actually took me until after 50 to fully understand that. Coaching and personal development helped me see how much possibility there still is, even when life feels settled or familiar. That’s why I love working with women at this stage of life.
I get to see them reconnect with who they are, rediscover what lights them up, and realise their best years aren’t behind them. They’re happening now, and there’s so much more to come.
It’s never too late to create a life that feels good, inside and out. And it’s definitely OK to be your own greatest cheerleader.

About coaching
Coaching with me is a gentle, grounded process that helps you reconnect with who you are and create a life that feels true to you.
So often, we go through life following a path that seems right, until something starts to feel uncomfortable or unfulfilling. You might have a sense that you’re meant for more, or that you’re living by someone else’s rules rather than your own.
Coaching gives you a safe, supportive space to explore what’s really going on. Together, we look at your options, get clear on what matters most, and find ways to move forward that feel true to you.
All the answers are already within you. Coaching simply helps to draw them out. Because the insights come from you, they fit your life perfectly — no more trying to follow someone else’s formula.
Put simply, coaching is a conversation. You can’t get it wrong. There’s no pressure to have a big “light-bulb” moment in every session. My role is to help you quiet the mental chatter so you can tune into your own inner wisdom. Once you know how to do that, that wisdom is always available when you need it.
Although every client’s journey is unique, there’s a natural flow to the way the work unfolds:

From that new sense of clarity, we shape gentle, practical steps that feel aligned and achievable.
5. Integration
You’ll leave with greater trust in yourself and a toolkit for making confident choices in your everyday life.
