About Me

Hi, I’m Karen.  I’m in my 50s and I’ve created a life that I love in the stunning countryside of Northern Scotland.
Originally I’m from England and I’ve had a massively varied work history, which has given me a ton of life experience that I love to share with my clients.

I moved to Scotland with my husband in 2014.  We’d always loved the area and vowed to live here one day and now that life is a reality!

I’m a firm believer that we create our lives, whether consciously or unconsciously, through the decisions we make, the opportunities we take (or not) and the values that we live by.

Every decision I’ve ever made has brought me to where I am now - living in a place I love, with a man I love and my gorgeous rescue dog, Daisy.

I’ve only come to this understanding and belief through coaching and personal development AND I only discovered this after I turned 50.  So, it’s never too late!  I love working with midlife women and seeing them realise that their best years are still ahead of them, they too can create a life they love and that it’s OK to be their own greatest cheerleader.

Coaching with me is a gentle, grounded process that helps you reconnect with who you are and create a life that feels true to you.

So often, we go through life following a path that seems right, until something starts to feel uncomfortable or unfulfilling. You might have a sense that you’re meant for more, or that you’re living by someone else’s rules rather than your own.

Coaching gives you a safe, supportive space to explore what’s really going on. Together, we look at your options, get clear on what matters most, and find ways to move forward that feel true to you.

All the answers are already within you. Coaching simply helps to draw them out. Because the insights come from you, they fit your life perfectly — no more trying to follow someone else’s formula.

Put simply, coaching is a conversation. You can’t get it wrong. There’s no pressure to have a big “light-bulb” moment in every session. My role is to help you quiet the mental chatter so you can tune into your own inner wisdom. Once you know how to do that, that wisdom is always available when you need it.

Although every client’s journey is unique, there’s a natural flow to the way the work unfolds:

1. Settling In
We start by creating a calm, safe space where you can slow down, breathe, and begin to hear yourself clearly.

2. Rediscovery
Together we explore what feels out of alignment and uncover what truly matters to you.

3. Tuning In
As the noise quiets, you reconnect with your intuition — the steady voice that knows what’s right for you.

4. Inspired Action
From that new sense of clarity, we shape gentle, practical steps that feel aligned and achievable.

5. Integration
You’ll leave with greater trust in yourself and a toolkit for making confident choices in your everyday life.
